First of all I would like to thank the brothers who are behind the idea of this website. They suggested it, and then implemented it and now they are maintaining it. So may Allah reward them.
In the old times it used to take a few days to travel, for example, from Makkah to Madina which are only 450km apart. Now we can communicate all over the globe within seconds; text, audio and video, all within seconds. So I would like to tell all of the brothers out there whom I personally know and whom I spent memorable time with: Assalamu alaykum and insha Allah I will never forget you.
And to those whom I grew to know through these modern means of communication but the circumstances have separated me from meeting them, nevertheless, I still feel a bond with them and I love them for the sake of Allah because they have chosen to follow Islam: Assalamu alaykum, and if we don’t meet in this world then we ask Allah to make us of those who would meet while reclining on the thrones of Paradise.
And to all my brothers and sisters who are reading this: Assalamu alaykum and we ask Allah to provide us with guidance and to keep us on the straight path.
And finally to all of the ghurabaa out there: I send you a thousand salaams …

Of recent past i have been Alhamdulillah happy to meet foreign brothers whom we can get trustworthy information on what is happening in the muslim lands and other places. It is good to have people “on the ground” in those places to InshaALLAH provide us with accurate news (which is [Alhamdulillah] not subject to the standards of modern day journalism)
That being said, i have a suggestion that perhaps you could use this blog to inform us brothers who are abroad about current events and happenings around Yemen and perhaps neighbouring arab lands if you are able to.
In such testing times i believe fiqh ul waaqi’ is important and would be very interested on your ideas regarding this.

The Victorious Party is alive and doing just what Allaah has said they would do. The question is WHAT ROLE DO WE PLAY VIS A VIS THE VICTORIOUS PARTY? Do we abandon them? Oppose them? Assist them? Or are we FROM them?

(P.S.S Perhaps, for ease to the Sheikh, when the students are sending questions, they can on the title post ‘Private’ or ‘Public’. There could be a group of people who view only the public questions and gather those which are similar, summarize the question list, and then forward it to the Sheikh as more time can be spent on the response as opposed to having the Sheikh read the same questions? Perhaps even place beside the question how may times it was asked as a reference for the Sheikh? Just a thought)
