Bird's Eye of the "British FBI" HQ

Since its creation in April 2006, SOCA (Serious Organised Crime Agency) (www.soca.gov.uk) - dubbed the British FBI - has been hiding behind "PO Box 8000", a Post Office private box address administered at a Royal Mail depot close to Wandsworth Police Station in south east London.

SOCA was formed from the amalgamation of the National Crime Squad (NCS), National Criminal Intelligence Service (NCIS), the National Hi-Tech Crime Unit (NHTCU), the part of HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) dealing with drug trafficking and associated criminal finance and the part of UK Immigration Service (UKIS) dealing with organised immigration crime.

How ironic it is that the UK Government's own secure mail address database now reveals the real physical address of SOCA's HQ at the Spring Gardens office development at the appropriately named Citadel Place off Tinworth Street near Albert Embankment in Vauxhall, close to the HQs of both MI5  and MI6!
