Other signs that the images are a spoof is that the "Day 9" and "Day 10" images are basically identical -- compare the suturing thread positions, the tufts of fluff on the patient's arm (near wrist), and the general state of the wound.

Cryptome received these photos from an unknown source, the e-mail transmitting them apparently deleted as spam. They appear to show rapid development of a biological attack, perhaps by cutaneous anthrax (Google images), but might show another virulent assault. Explanation from the source is invited or from others who can identify the pathology.
