26 April 2013 Quiet Spy Days This shows the quiet days of the very few spies on warning duty all-days, 24x7, compared to the busy days of the many, many more on corporate duty 9-5, 5 days a week, at Director of National Intelligence, National Counterterrorism Center, National Security Agency, Central Intelligence Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency and the Pentagon. Presumably there is similarly disproportionate staffing at other spy agencies: Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Energy, Homeland Security, State, Treasury, DEA, FBI, Marines, NGA, NRO, White House Situation Room. Although these are not so obvious from parking lot disclosures of readiness -- best lean or fat? -- to execute the most highly classified defense plan.
