Prominent English Blogger Eliot Higgins has been linked to American Terrorist Matthew Van Dyke and supression of information of Jabhat Al-Nusra possession of Sarin. The Van-Dyke Facebook was hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army and his private Twitter messages published.

Elliot Higgins has received at least some funding from the Syrian Support Group - a US NGO providing non-lethal US Government aid to Syria - gas-masks, atropine, covert communicatons equipment, etc. i.e. a CIA front.

The Syrian Support Group has also been active in releasing disinformation on Syria both through Higgins and by direct press-release. e.g.

which is a fraudulent document released on August 21 blaming the Syrian Government. It used completely fictitious facts in preparation for a US strike.

Seymour Hersh has just written an expose on US Government disinformation regarding Syria and Sarin, saying that the US knew for certain that Islamist group Jabhat al-Nusra had aquired Sarin, and that the Sarin used on August 21 was very low quality compared to the high quality Syrian Government arsenal.
