Mobile Phone Forensics Company Hacked

From Alan Turnbull,

Mobile Phone Forensics company hacked.

Forensic Telecommunications Services Limited (FTS, and promotes
itself as a worldwide centre of expertise in forensic data recovery from
mobile phones in the support of investigations into serious organised crime,
murder and terrorism conspiracies. Mobile phone cell site analysis is also a
key service.

FTS operates out of a secretive laboratory - known only by a PO Box number -
near the village of Kemsing, close to Sevenoaks, Kent, south east of London.

It has employed former senior detectives from UK police forces as

It is headed by a former UK Government advisor Jonathan Seager Clark, MBE.

FTS and indeed Clark himself are prone to scandal.

In August 2013, HMRC tax inspectors petitioned at the High Court to wind-up
the company under insolvency legislation.

However, this was dismissed by the Court in November 2013.

It is unclear whether FTS is still trading. Currently, it is listed as "active" at Companies House.

Its registered address was switched to an industrial park in Sheffield in
September 2012. Shortly after that, two directors resigned.

It will be further unwelcome news that the FTS website has been hacked by
scammers involved in selling fake designer goods.
