Obama in Chicago 27 October 2015

President Obama is in Chicago tomorrow, October 27, to give a speech and attend a couple of fundraisers. The location of the fundraisers have thus far been kept relatively well hidden. However, I believe I found one of the locations.

In recent days there has been a fair amount of activity around the block encompassed by State, Astor, Banks and Goethe in the Gold Coast neighborhood. No parking signs and barricades have been erected, consistent with past visits. This includes the Public hotel, though I am not sure if the event is there. It appears the motorcade will be on State Parkway at least for part of the route. The alley between State and Astor will be closed according to the attached sign at the employee entrance for the hotel. Earlier today there were police officers with clipboards surveying the area.
