Swedish Prosecutors Ask Assange for Clarifications
The prosecutors ask Assange for clarifications
The prosecutors have received Julian Assanges consent, with some
reservations, to be interviewed in London and have his DNA taken. The prosecutors
have asked for clarifications concerning the reservations.
As soon as it becomes clear that there are no obstacles for the planned
investigation matters, we will submit a request for legal assistance to the
British authorities to further continue the investigation. A request will
also be sent to the Ecuadorian authorities regarding permission to perform
investigative measures at the countrys embassy in London, says Director
of Public Prosecution Marianne Ny.
At present, it is not possible to estimate when the interview will take place.
