[Commerce Business Daily: Posted in CBDNet on December 11, 2001] [Printed Issue Date: December 13, 2001] From the Commerce Business Daily Online via GPO Access [cbdnet.access.gpo.gov] PART: U.S. GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENTS SUBPART: SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL CLASSCOD: 70--General-Purpose Information Technology Equipment OFFADD: National Land Agency, 8 Ardenne Road, Kingston 10, Jamaica W.I. SUBJECT: 70--NATIONAL LAND AGENCY E-LAND WEB SERVICE APPLICATION SOL NLA-003 DUE 012802 POC Mr. Sherlock Gleniste, Fax No: (876) 967-1010 and address mail to Attn: Elizabeth Stair DESC: The intent of this RFQ is to solicit technical proposals from qualified Offerors to secure a single qualified contractor for the purpose of providing an Internet-based system for land (property) information; to include all necessary needs assessments, hardware, software, implementation services, training and support. A complete description of the Scope of Work can be found in Part 3 of the RFP. The NLA desires a web application to provide land information to both internal staff and customers of the Agency. The data to be served through the e-Land system is described in Part I of this RFP and is both tabular and spatial in nature. The NLA would like to provide minimal property ownership information at no charge, however the remaining services would be available only to paid subscribers of the system. The vendor is expected to provide all software, hardware, database services, implementation services, training and documentation. To the extent possible, the NLA is looking for an "out-of-the-box" solution; with minimal customization. The design of the system must be extensible; NLA would like to add more functionality and "services" in the future. RFQ may be requested by email only to Mr. Sherlock Glenister, E-Mail: sglenister@nla.gov.jm. Response date of this quotation is an estimate. Actual response date will be shown on the actual RFQ. Payment will be made in U.S. currency. Financing will be under USAID GBTI Contract # PCE-I-801-98-00014-00. Deadline for submission is January 28, 2002. Late submissions will not be considered.
