THE MURDER OF EOIN MORLEY

First and foremost Eoin Morley was a Terrorist. He was an active member of the P.IRA, involved in the murder of members of the security forces, and the enquiry of others.

At the time of his death, his mother approached a member of the Army Council P.IRA and asked him for a personal favour to her family, to look into the killing of her son.

It was alleged by the family that the killing was a personal vendetta by the then "OC" of the IRA in the Newry and Dundalk area, MOOCH BLAIR.

Some time before his murder Eoin left the P.IRA and went to another Terrorist group, the IPLO. Eoin and others from this group were told by the IRA to leave Ireland or they would be shot.

When Eoin left the P.IRA, their "Army orders" forbid a former member from going to another faction, and bringing any knowledge from the P.IRA with them.

Eoin moved to the Manchester area with other members of his family. A short time later he returned to Newry, and was shot dead by the P.IRA.

Some members of Eoins family stayed in the Manchester area and became involved in the drugs trade.

It was one of Eoins brothers that supplied a tablet press for making Ecstasy tablets to British Agent Kevin Fulton.

British Customs with the help of Fulton, tracked the tablet press which was for the P.IRA, from Manchester to Dublin, where defrocked priest Patrick Ryan, was photographed in receipt of the tablet press.

The Garda then lost the tablet press.

Going back to Eoin Morley, at the time of his death the P.IRA issued a statement saying that he was an INFORMER.

He had passed information on P.IRA arms dumps to an other member of the IPLO. These dumps were then caught [uncovered] by the RUC, and a number of men were arrested.

The man he gave the information to was Fergus Conlon. He was later shot by the IPLO, as a police informer.

At the request of Mrs Morley, the member of the P.IRA Army Council Martin Maguiness, told her his findings.
