Battle at COP Keating and OP Fritsche

On June 10, 2011 the US Central Command (CENTCOM) FOIA office released over 200 declassified documents on the investigation of the battle at Combat Outposts (COP) Keating and Outpost (OP) Fritsche in Afghanistan on October 3, 2009, in which eight soldiers were killed. The documents describe in graphic detail the day-long battle on the ground and in the air through textual and photographic evidence assembled for the investigation. Selected documents below. Source:
