Pairs of photos below of WTC were taken on 3 October 2001 (left) and 27 May 2003 (right) from the same location along West Street, moving from the north toward the south. The first two pairs show the Winter Palace and the American Express building across West Street from WTC. The next to last photo shows the WTC pit with the PATH station under construction, and the last photo shows under-street utility work a block north of WTC, both taken on 27 May 2003.
