1.  Once a professional development (PD) requirement is met, it satisfies identical requirements at higher paygrades.
2.  All other existing military and professional requirements courses still apply.
3.  Successful completion of MATH FOR SIGINT (EA-183) satisfies the MATH VOL 1 recommendation for CTT personnel.

Successful completion of EA-183 within one year of attendance to EA-279/280 is still a prerequisite for EA-279/280 and is NOT waiverable. 

Successful completion of NROSO CBT satisfies NATIONAL SYSTEMS INSTRUCTOR COURSE requirement for CTT.

4.  INTRODUCTION TO PCS AND APPLICATIONS, NETG
        If you are using the CD-ROM, 12089 is the recommended course.
        If you are using ONLINE access, 12994 is the recommended course.
5.  Per the NEC manual, "Commencing with the September 1998 advancement cycle 160, all candidates competing for E-5 (CTI2) through E-8 (CTICS) must annually achieve a proficiency score of L2/R2 on the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) in the language which reflects their primary duty as determined by the member's commanding officer. Minimum proficiency of L2/R2 must be attained within one year of the eligibility cut-off date for each advancement cycle to become eligible for advancement unless exempted by COMNAVSECGRU."
